Talk:List of brand name condiments

Has the original intention been sidetracked?[edit]

There are some condiments, such as Marmite or Nutella, where the name of the condiment and the name of the brand is identical. I originally thought that this was a list of unique condiments having this 1-to-1 correspondence. However, the list also includes numerous corporate brands used for a variety of products: Heinz markets beans, pasta, soups; other corporations market a variety of condiments, none of them unique to that brand. What is the intention of this article? A list of all corporations that produce ranch dressing? In its present state, shouldn't the article be retitled: List of corporations that sell condiments? I agree, and I've cleaned up this list. I've deleted the company names. There were also several entries for generic flavors, like wafu dressing. -- Mikeblas (talk) 04:29, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
