Concerning Bonsal et Culbertson, 1946 to 51, there could be an explicative note stating why they where Chargé d'Affaires and not ambassador (even if factually, they were in power) : due to the UN Resolution of the 12 december 1946, there was no official diplomatic representation in Franco's Spain — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.13.134.192 (talk) 18:23, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
