Massive duplication[edit]

Can something be done to eliminate the massive duplication of alumni names that appear in BOTH this article AND Ross School of Business? There isn't any good reason to have (exactly?) the same (lengthy) list appear in two different articles in Wikipedia. Your username goes here 19:52, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

University of Michigan Project[edit]

University of Michigan is not represented with a project at Category:WikiProject Universities. Please comment at Talk:University_of_Michigan#Should_University_of_Michigan_have_a_project.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:04, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

This list had become encrusted with names of people whose inclusion seemed pretty dicey and so I've undertaken in the course of several edits to remove some of what struck me as the more egregious cases. I focused on redlinks (all were redlinks save one that in fact linked to the wrong person), in particular on ones that either gave no indication of what made the particular person worth including (e.g., CEO of a company that lacks a Wikipedia entry) or which were accompanied by lengthy, unsourced resume-style descriptions of their entire business careers. I freely admit that my determinations were subjective. If any editor disagrees with my decisions, please restore the name. Truth be told I think the list should be shorter still but I've pared it down enough for now - Thanks. JohnInDC (talk) 15:13, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
