Correct Season 9 order[edit]

I think it would be a good idea to also list the correct order of Season 9 episodes, considering they were aired horribly wrong by ABC. The problem is though, there's no official order, and going by production number is still wrong. As a Drew Carey Show buff, i've created what I 99.9% believe is the correct order. Unfortunatly, I have no idea how to change the table myself, so I figure if I list them here someone with the expertise/time could do it. To avoid clutter, i'll just list the episode numbers by their airing order excluding the '9x' part: 16, 19, 20, 3, 17, 21, 22, 18, 4, 2, 6, 1, 5, 7, 9, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 23, 14, 15, 24, 25, 26.

Rest of the Episodes[edit]

I intend to finish the rest of the episodes during the summer, however, I am taking finals right now so will not be able to complete any of them here in the next week. If somebody knows where to get screenshots of any of the episodes and post them, that would be great. Nehrams2020 01:11, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've got the season one dvd and can get screencaps if you like. I know it's 2 years later though so I'll leave a talk page message too, unless someone else has to take over this part of the project from you. --TIB (talk) 03:07, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have the first season DVD as well, and am anxiously awaiting even a mention of the second season. Although it is more visually appealing to have a screenshot for each episode, the guidelines for lists of television episodes have changed. Since my first post, using multiple screenshots that are copyrighted does not comply with fair use requirements. I believe consensus on this occurred sometime early or mid-last year. Because of this, only free images can be added for the list, and the only ones we could likely add or ones of the actors themselves. Thank you for your interest, but it is likely that uploaded screenshots will be deleted. Thanks for moving the page, I don't think I ever even noticed the lack of "The". Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 06:04, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode notability[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
  • The result is a merge and redirect, based on no actual rebuttle to the proposed merger. Since this is a discussion, and not a vote, there needs to be more than simply "object".  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 21:27, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All of the episodes of this series fail the notability guidelines for television episodes. The way for these articles to be improved is through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. That is unlikely to happen, and these only contain overly long plot summaries, trivia, and quotes. Per that, they need to be a small part of this list. If there are no objections, these will be redirected soon. TTN 23:57, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I object. Please use the Wikipedia:Television episodes/Review process. - Peregrine Fisher 05:45, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • None of the episodes I have reviewed qualify for their own article per WP:EPISODE. Unless notability can be established per the guidlines noted by TTN above, these should be redirected. And kudos to User:Nehrams2020 for his engagement of the consultation process and his concern for Wikipedia policy. Eusebeus 22:25, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure there aren't too many people watching this page/have too much interest in the episodes. So do we just create a redirect back to the main episode list for each page or what? If so, do we then create the pages for the rest of the episodes and redirect them as well? --Nehrams2020 01:56, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect the individual episode articles that exist already & remove the links from this page. There is no need to create redirects for the remaining articles. Eusebeus 10:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I support the redirection of these articles. TV show episodes are rarely able to have notability established for them and this discussion has gone nowhere in near a month. --Jack Merridew 10:23, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to redirect all of these today based on general consensus here. --Nehrams2020 21:19, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I finished the redirects deleted the talk page of the redirects as well as the category for all of the episodes. In the near future, I plan to work on improving this list to a featured list, but the timing of this will depend on my current to-do list and how school goes. --Nehrams2020 22:26, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Move[edit]

I moved List of Drew Carey Show episodes as per The Drew Carey Show and List of The Drew Carey Show characters containing "The". I see on the move page that if I don't do anything, a bot will fix the double redirects, and since I don't think this page is super popular, there shouldn't be a problem with the delay. --TIB (talk) 03:13, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Summaries[edit]

Does anyone think the summaries are necessary? Their length makes the article difficult to navigate, and they contain spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the episode. Summaries are beyond the scope of a list of episodes. Since they can be found on the website listed under External Links, I will delete them in one week (26 Dec 2008) if no one objects. discussion and/or suggestion type thing[edit]

It has been a long time since this list was really touched. The general consensus, judging by what episode lists are "featured lists", seems to be having a centralized "episode list" (such as this one) and then have that linked to the individual seasons where there would, in turn, be more detail on that particular season. I can't promise that I'll be the one to tackle this endeavor, but I thought it would be a good idea to have it here on the talk page in case: I don't do it and there's another editor, like me, who just happens to wander in and wonder how they can improve this article. -- Chickenmonkey X  sign?  08:56, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nan Martin not a guest[edit]

Nan Martin played Mrs. Louder as we all know. Since she made 25 appearances which makes her character recurring not a guest. A guest would only make a few appearances at most not become recurring. Is it worth mentioning every episode she is in as a "guest." Again, 25 episodes doesn't make you a guest. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:26, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nan Martin not a guest[edit]

Nan Martin played Mrs. Louder as we all know. Since she made 25 appearances which makes her character recurring not a guest. A guest would only make a few appearances at most not become recurring. Considering this, it's redundant saying "guest." Again, 25 episodes doesn't make you a guest. I made not in the episode that Nana Martin made her first appearance. All other mentions are removed.
