Ok, by the way the list may be incomplete pre-1946. Mattlore (talk) 18:53, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I did check the Labour MP category against the list in Wilson so it should be complete now. I still have to add the electorates some held. There are no red links on the 25th New Zealand Parliament page for the parliament after the 1935 election ie all MPs have a page. There were subsequently losses of first-time 1935 Labour MPs in 1938 & 1943 Hugo999 (talk) 06:11, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note added to "Original Members" ie 1916 to name that some MPs who did not join in 1916: Several MPs were associated with precursors to the Labour Party (eg David McLaren and the IPLL) but did not join the New Zealand Labour Party in 1916; David McLaren, John Payne, Bill Veitch and Edward Kellett. McLaren and Payne supported conscription in World War I, and Veitch was part of the United Labour Party “Remnant” with Alfred Hindmarsh and Andrew Walker (Hindmarsh and Walker joined the NZLP later, not in 1916) Hugo999 (talk) 11:31, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
