Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of programs broadcast by History (TV channel) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 14:16, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

who ever edited this and scrambled all my edits and took off that some were Tv shows I don't understand then you edited shows from Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel is someone fucking with me because I don't understand???

Various editing[edit]

@Sandi0000 Please stop editing pages like this, and discuss what your trying to do in your edits and why. Stop removing valid wikilinks, stop removing entries without reason. Tried requesting this at your talk page but you didn't listen. Indagate (talk) 20:50, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

for 100th time you don't need to link the show, that's what I was editing what the show was so you didn't have to go read a link Sandi0000 (talk) 22:27, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I gave detailed descriptions of what the shows were about without the links because I don't want link there what else is there to explain???? Sandi0000 (talk) 22:51, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Try and look at this from another user's perspective. If they're trying to find information on an online encyclopedia what sense does it make for them to have to go out of their way and Google something, as you clearly mentioned they should do in your edit descriptions, when with links being present on an article they are just one click away from finding further information.
No matter how detailed you think your descriptions are, entire articles based on a subject are always going to do a better job.
Please just stop endlessly making the same edits and discuss exactly what you want to achieve so that we can work together on this. Cheezknight (talk) 23:59, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
what sense does it make? googling a tv show is extremely simple so stop asking what I want to achieve I want to edit MY way not YOUR way Sandi0000 (talk) 02:15, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you've said anything for the "100th time" like about linking the show, then the edit is clearly disputed and you shouldn't still be making it. All pages on Wikipedia have links to and from them, this cannot be an exception. Your descriptions were nowhere near as detailed as an actual article with references. Wikipedia is about working together for a shared goal, so even if you "don't want link there", they stay if there's isn't consensus among editors to remove them. Please stop editing this page altogether and just discuss here to get consensus for your edits. Indagate (talk) 07:44, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Sandi0000 still doing same edits, please discuss here Indagate (talk) 12:58, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
nope got my page but thanks Sandi0000 (talk) 17:01, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
not your page, please read WP:OWN Indagate (talk) 17:08, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

(natgeotv.com)
and this is where I get the show from what Sandi0000 (talk) 23:01, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ok now I'm think someone trolling me because I literally linked the website where I found all the US Shows and someone deleted the link wtf? Sandi0000 (talk) 00:00, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Sandi0000 Again, please discuss your edits here instead of keeping making them, especially straight after a block. Indagate (talk) 07:35, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

how do I explain them? Sandi0000 (talk) 13:51, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I explained my edit was Tv show is that how I'm supposed to do it? Sandi0000 (talk) 14:01, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It has already been explained by multiple editors why keeping wikilinks is not up for debate. Immediately coming back from a week-long block and making the same edits here, on List of National Geographic original programming and on List of Animal Planet original programming comes across that you are willfully ignoring other editors.
Try and explain exactly what you want to do so that we can understand the reasoning behind your edits. Make a bulleted list if needed. Just saying that you want the article(s) to look a certain way may not be useful or make sense for others that could access the article(s) in the future. There are numerous other frequently edited programming lists on Wikipedia that you can draw inspiration from if you want to spend time improving articles like this one. Cheezknight (talk) 15:51, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't want improve anything I wanted to change it but I found another site like this where I can make my own list Sandi0000 (talk) 16:10, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please explain why you are breaking the piped links, which is creating numerous disambiguation links, and changing the order of titles so that its visually in a descending order. (this includes your changes on the Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and BBC America articles.
This is on the cusp of becoming edit warring and you just came off a temporary ban. Can you please discuss your edits instead of ignoring other editors. Cheezknight (talk) 16:15, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
They can't explain, no. For one thing they've repeatedly failed to explain what they're doing, but also they've been blocked. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:25, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This has been going on for several weeks across multiple articles so I appreciate your help in resolving this. Cheezknight (talk) 17:01, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Very similar edits now being made to this article by @Brad8319:. Indagate (talk) 19:42, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for bringing this up. I just noticed the changes myself after another editor reverted an IP user making similar edits to Sandi0000 and their previous sockpuppet account. I strongly suspect that this is them. Cheezknight (talk) 19:48, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah edits seem too similar to be a different person really and "Sandi" has history of sockpuppetry as you say Indagate (talk) 20:42, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sandi0000 seems to have returned to this article once again under the same IP as previous edits [1] [2] and is making the same edits as before.
@Gamapamani The user who made the large series of edits that you fixed the lint errors of was blocked in the past and is now back once again. They have a history of sockpuppetry / ban evading. [3] with User:Brad8319 likely being another undocumented account. Thanks. Cheezknight (talk) 09:08, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gamapamani: yeah meant to revert IPs edits not just yours sorry, see above for history of disruption from accounts and IPs making same edits. Indagate (talk) 09:35, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
NP, what's a May Day without a mayday. 🙂 I didn't get it at first because only my lint error fixes were reverted, but afterwards I looked further down and saw what was going on. I think I even looked at a few of the previous edits before starting with my fixes (the error pattern suggested possible vandalism), but not knowing the context they seemed bona fide enough.
