Killian[edit]

I realize that Wikipedia does not police spoilers, but Wikipedia:Spoilers does indicate that encyclopedic intent must be used when posting a spoiler. There is no encyclopedic intent being used when adding to the article on Adrich Killian. Just a desire to spoil the movie for people. To be fair, the revelation regarding Killian in Iron Man 3 is probably the most significant thing to ever be done with the character. Kaecilius[edit]

From my reading, Kaecilius was a very minor character in the comics, but it looks like he was given a fairly major film role, and appears to have the sources to prove it. I have not seen the film yet for myself, so I have no idea. So, I think we should keep this article for now, for some of the same reasons that Cloak of Levitation was kept at AFD. Now that the film is out, do we have any reviews that discuss this character? BOZ (talk) 18:19, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is a very minor comics character, and as I've been stating, the article just adds a full infobox and section headings to all the content already here. The character is the "main antagonist" in the film, and most of the info regarding the character is appropriately added and sourced on the film location. There should not be much more to the character at this location. This is also based on events of the film, in which (SPOILERS) he dies. So, at least at this time, it isn't like Downey as Iron Man, who will be making more appearances in the films. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:27, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Normally, I'd say having a large role in a film would make a character notable, but the film version is a composite of multiple (unidentified?) comic characters. I am backing up Favre1fan93 on this one because he is right about his claim. Proposed merge with Kaecilius[edit]

The film version I dare say might be notable. Definitely if you search top MCU villains and find some real world perspective on the character. I am not doubting that he is minor in the comics just like Aldrich Killian, Alexander Goodwin Pierce and Taserface are whle still having their own articles which should or should not be merged. Reliable sources are still talking about the film version though and he has enough reception (more negative than positive) if done right. I know this is leaning against WP:Otherstuffexists but all these other articles I linked maybe need to be merged too if this one gets merged. Aldrich Killian would go here for one instance. Yes, this should be merged. It appears to fit the requirements to be on List of Marvel Comics characters: K very much. I honestly don't know why they're not merged...seem pretty similar.
