OK, as I'm working on this page, I'm realizing that at the rate it's growing, by the time I'm done it will be the biggest page in all of wikipedia. I don't even want to think about how big the "S" list will be. So, any suggestions on how to divide the page? Should we follow the Baseball Almanac page example?

This page is now showing up on the Long Pages list. It's closing in on 200K in length. Procedural guidance would be helpful before things get truly out of hand. Anyone? Anyone? -Dewelar (talk) 04:35, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I split the page in the manner of baseball-reference, into Wa-Wh and Wi-Wy. Feel free to suggest something better. -Dewelar (talk) 07:29, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's fine to have the page split because of size, it loads a lot better now, and the already complete W1 page loads fine now. Good job on these lists by the way, great effort. —Borgardetalk 12:32, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It definitely needed to be split, the only question was how. As for the page...I just saw Wizardman's good idea and ran. Good to see you carrying things on over to the "V" page. -Dewelar (talk) 16:57, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
