Record Inconsistencies[edit]

Hello all!

When comparing many of the records here to those found on the official records-page provided by the International Paralympic Committee, there are many inconsistencies present. For this reason, there is a need for a clean-up of most the article, in an attempt to correct multiple contradictions. However, it is a great deal of effort to go through every single record by one's self; so, this has been written as a reminder to any who are willing: Please compare the records with the official IPC ones, and include the IPC reference (conveniently titled "IPC") to all records present which are among the official records - and yes, this will provide many '[1]' references throughout the page. For example, in regard to record inconsistencies, even within the (male) 100m Freestyle event (short course), the S14 record is already different: It is now held by Thomas Hamer, from Great Britain, with a time of 52.08s, set in Manchester, in 2017.

Thank you to all who participate in this initiative to provide a consistent, detailed collection of information on para swimming events!

(And this has been posted on the other sections of the main article, and the main article itself.)
