Farm to Market 662[edit]

When Urban Road 662 was undesignated, the whole route must have been, rather than it reverting to a Farm to Market Road. This would be per the Minute Order here: https://www.dot.state.tx.us/tpp/hwy/FM0500/FM0662.htm. The later Minute Order getting rid of Urban Road 662 really doesn't mention it reverting to a Farm to Market Road. From what I've seen, the route no longer exists. • The route is noted in Exhibit A (on page 16) of Minute Order 115371. (This exhibit appears to be a wholesale duplicate of that attached to Minute Order 105686, which designated the UR system.) TxDOT's designation files are admittedly still somewhat inconsistent for the affected routes: while some of them have been updated (mainly lower-numbered routes; see for example FM 14), not all of them explicitly indicate the reversion from a UR to an FM/RM. At any rate, the existence of FM 662 can also be verified from the Statewide Planning Map and searching for "FM0662". --Kinu t/c 01:23, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
