Programme dated 4 June 2005[edit]

I don't believe there was an episode of Desert Island Discs broadcsat on 4 June 2005. It was a Saturday and the usual days of transmission are Sundays and Fridays.86.132.205.78 (talk) 17:30, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Repeats of programmes as tributes to recently dead castaways[edit]

This is extremely rare on Desert Island Discs. The only two occasions in recent years when it has happened has been for Humphrey Lyttelton (as mentioned - in 2008) and Jack Rosenthal (in 2004, NOT 2005!).86.132.205.78 (talk) 17:50, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
