Is this necessary?[edit]

The show hasnt even started yet. Cartoon network, which is more reliable than TV.com, only list two episodes. Rau's talk 00:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TV.com is usually good about episodes, and it doesn't hurt. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:21, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Unless TV.com is wrong. Then all of the people who came here for info get incorrect information. And that stuff seems to spread like fire. Rau's talk 00:23, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still inclined to trust TV.com, since its info is supported by Animation Insider, albeit indirectly. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:57, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I trust that site, but I didn't see any info about episode titles or episode information. But, I suppose a good track record is good enough for me to back off on the issue of trust. Rau's talk 01:27, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Added TV.com refs. Rau's talk 01:51, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am in agreement with The Rogue Penguin. We never really trust tv.com because of the amount of times that they have been wrong on this sort of thing. Its never used for shows like Avatar or Pokemon, so why should it get used here?Wild ste (talk) 19:32, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am the one that doesn't trust them, they have been wrong about airdates for Avatar episodes more times than I can count. But, I am new to these articles and they seem to trust TV.com and unless i can start a major discussion, I'm not going to challenge it. Rau's Speak Page 20:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
TV.com is out. They had the overall plot of the new episode, but were wrong on some points. They cant be trusted. Rau's Speak Page 15:08, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How so? They only have the basic description. It is still technically right, vague or not. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 15:38, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Grandpa Max wasn't in the episode at all, neither was his badge. And Grandpa seems kind of critical to this series. Mentioning that he, or anything related to him were in the episode was wrong. And I stated "They had the overall plot of the new episode, but were wrong on some points." Rau's Speak Page 16:50, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Where does TV.com get its info from (either generally or specifically for this show? Ged UK (talk) 16:58, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It was on the official site at one point, or so I hear. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 17:03, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The same description? Or one similar? Rau's Speak Page 17:11, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Same as far as I know. That is to say, it hasn't been changed since it was added, and the first two descriptions matched those the site kept. Also, since my DirecTV makes the same mistake, I'm assuming we can let it slide. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 17:12, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. I'll drop it. Rau's Speak Page 17:42, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To Ged UK: It's either user submitted or from unnamed sources. Rau's Speak Page 18:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So we do not use TV.com anymore? Rau's Speak Page 17:08, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
TV.com is user-submitted. Using them for the upcoming ones is a necessary evil. It's stupid to use them for common knowledge, i.e. things that have already aired or are on relevant cable/satellite and TV guides. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 17:10, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But weren't you defending them not two weeks ago? Rau's Speak Page 17:20, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, which is why I say necessary evil, and you're entirely missing the point about what sourcing is for. You don't source the obvious. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 17:26, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sourcing is for the verification of information. Rau's Speak Page 17:45, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sourcing is for the verification of information when necessary, not when possible. We don't say "Snow is white.[citation needed]" because that would be stupid. As I said in my edit summary, "WP:V - All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged should be attributed to a reliable, published source using an inline citation." Episode titles are not something people will challenge, and netier are their summaries. Ratings info, for example, would be. I see you edit List of Supernatural episodes: those titles likewise aren't sourced, so why are you trying to do it here? — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 17:50, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They actually are sourced. Check the external links section, there are at least two sources for each title. And WP:V states:

The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—meaning, in this context, whether readers are able to check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether we think it is true.

I understand where you are coming from, but I do not see the harm in citing episode titles and their summaries for that matter. And not all snow is white. Rau's Speak Page 18:00, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Snow is always white. Other factors are what cause the light to refract differently. But that's beside the point. You quote the lead of WP:V, which is called the lead because you're supposed to read on. You don't source the obvious. This is true on the Supernatural page, too. External links aren't sources, they're external links. They're there for information that wouldn't be appropriate on the page itself. A TVguide link as an external link is fine. You don't need it for every single episode as an inline citation. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 18:10, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thats fine. But what about the unaired episode titles? Where do those come from? IMDb, TV.com, a fansite? With out those having been aired, they are not common knowledge.
Since both TV.com and IMDb list them, it's enough to have the two external links. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 18:30, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They are both user submitted, thats unreliable. Rau's Speak Page 18:38, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing better to rely on. Still better they remain as external links. They've been right so far, so common sense would dictate the information past that is likewise correct. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 21:43, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, material you watch from a download no one should have yet (god I love the internet) cannot be verified, as we would have to violate copyright to verify it. Conflicting interests and all. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 21:48, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It aired on television. It has cartoon networks logo in the corner. And if we do not trust them on one thing, then we should trust them on nothing. Rau's Speak Page 22:01, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It didn't air on television. The video in question is a low-quality webrip ganked from Cartoon Network's video service before they actually decided to show it to viewers. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:03, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Meaning that they released it online? Rau's Speak Page 22:11, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(Unindent) No, meaning it is sitting on a server as four files not yet made available for online viewing, as in the only way to get these files is to download them from said server and mash them into a viewable clip for the enjoyment of those in the know, as it were. In short, it can't be verified without breaking copyright, so we wait a week. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:17, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, well okay then. As for the "nothing better to rely on" I find it unreliable to rely on web sites that have user submitted information. Rau's Speak Page 22:20, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As do I, but we've got nothing better and they've been right thus far. No sense in ditching them unless they've been wrong, such as what has plagued Avatar. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:21, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't the fact that that happened to Avatar reason enough to be wary of them? An yes; poor, poor Avatar. Rau's Speak Page 01:52, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The point is that it did happen to them. Here, it's been accurate. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 01:54, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough, we'll play ostrich for now. Rau's Speak Page 02:01, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All that glitters[edit]

Why do we not have information for this episode. I have seen it. It even had cartoon networks logo in the corner meaning it aired. I do not see why we do not use the information. Rau's Speak Page 16:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nvm, I just saw that it was just added. Now my question is why we didn't use it before. Rau's Speak Page 16:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because it was leaked on bittorrent, and it wasn't officially released. For example, "Max Out" has also been leaked, but we wont put the information from it up until it officially airs. Chaoshi (talk) 21:13, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alien used in each episode[edit]

The last time I checked this page, each episode summary had a "alien used" line. Is it really against wiki policy to have that information? I thought it was a good idea. If it's really not neccessary then forget it I guess. --Secretss (talk) 20:05, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not against policy, it's just not very important. Rau's Speak Page 20:16, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DVD[edit]

Why do ip's continually add that the release has 13 discs and 390 minutes? *SIGN* 18:15, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They assume it's a whole season collection, like the ones from the previous series. Chaoshi (talk) 19:02, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

But that doesn't explain how numerous ip's add the exact same runtime and disc count. It just feels different from normal good faith edits... Besides, if they used 13 discs for a season collection, there would be weeks of special features... *SIGN* 19:16, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who cares? It's not like their conspiring to spam the information so much that it becomes true. Chaoshi (talk) 19:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It gets irritating to continually revert it. I've done it twice myself. *SIGN* 20:52, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, let's just put one of those invisible editing tags up, and hope that the majority of the IP's listen to it. It might help to stress the fact that it is, after all, volume one of season one. Chaoshi (talk) 21:20, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I'll do that. But if it continues, I'm requesting protection... they've protected for less. *SIGN* 21:24, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And how... Chaoshi (talk) 21:25, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

By going to WP:RFPP. Then listing this article with my reason. *SIGN* 21:27, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had enough this morning; page protected. --Ged UK (talk) 13:54, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Season 2[edit]

Just saw a preview for season 2 on Cartoon Network. All in favor of adding a season 2 section in the episode article, say "I"!

What does this preview say? Episode titles, dates, anything actually useful, or just confirmation of a second season? --Ged UK (talk) 21:08, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ben, Gwen, and Kevin are fighting a Highbreed and the Highbreed makes rude remarks like "Get off me you creature" and "Vermin!" and "Ben 10 Alien Force Season 2 starts in October!" Then Ben Tennyson turns into Echo Echo and jumps on the commander and they both get sucked into a portal, similar to the one in the Paradox episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.88.155.134 (talk) 21:48, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't tell us much of anything. Chaoshi (talk) 21:55, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hasn't anyone else seen it!? It's an amazing preview. It pretty much sums up what season 2 will be like.... AWESOME!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.88.155.134 (talk) 22:39, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So it sums up that he'll be fighting the Highbreed, and that EchoEcho is still in it. Doesn't really say much. --Ged UK (talk) 06:55, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, solicitations aren't a reliable source. That information could change, especially the date. *SIGN* 09:35, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Season 2 premiere[edit]

Dwayne McDuffie, the storyboard editor of the show revealed the airdate of the first episode of season two. Here's the link.

Where are all these season two plotlines coming from? They're all unsourced, and I'm very tempted to take them all out again. --Ged UK (talk) 08:20, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The only people who'd complain are the ip's... But if they have hard facts, let them provide a source. *SIGN* 19:08, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable source[edit]

is TV.com a Reliable source?Chaoshi (talk) 04:08, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No. They only got their real source from Zap2It. Which's more accurate. Zeta Nova 08:02, 01 April 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Adding Future Episodes[edit]

Guys, quit that! Who's ever editing this site's episode guide needs to stop. We don't have a concrete release date. Muchless full synopsis of the next episode titles to follow Birds of a Feather. It's getting really annoying. You know who you are. Zeta Nova 08:00, 17 February 2009 (UTC).[reply]

The correct episodes are;
  • Birds of a Feather
  • Unearthed
  • War of the Worlds Part One and Two Zeta Nova 08:01, 01 April 2009 (UTC). We need to find stuff on season 3.[reply]

Is their a season 3?[edit]

Question. This page says that alien force has a season 3 on the way but has this been confirmed? any one know if their is a season 3 on the way and wear this conformation comes from? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.162.165.238 (talk) 18:56, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Season 3 Relese date[edit]

A exact date for the first season 3 episode has not been relesed, however we do know that Cartoon Network has told us that Ben 10 shall return for season 3 in fall 2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.93.130.176 (talk) 18:05, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Simple[edit]

Er...the episode hasn't aired yet. Did it come on somewhere else? Chaoshi (talk) 20:47, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Made-up Episodes[edit]

I have seen some episodes that I have not heard of--some of which look too ridiculous to be true--being added to the list. People, if there is no proof that they exist from a reliable source, please please PLEASE don't add them here. There's a pretty good reason why fanfiction is called "fanfiction".--Twilight Helryx (talk) 15:47, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, why do people keep trying to stick fake episodes in? Two words: Quit it. Keep your fanfiction to yourself; nobody wants to read them here.--Twilight Helryx 01:26, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

YO Wiki, What's up with dis Rematch of Forever!?[edit]

Hey, what up with the removal of the info for the movie "Rematch of Forever"? I didn't write it, but it sure looked awesome. Sounded legit to me!--Harry the Werewolf: The Frightside

That's great! I knew it was real! I usually don't trust Wikipedia as a reliable source, but I just had a feeling that this movie was legit! So does anyone have an airdate?!--Harry the Werewolf: The Frightside

Um, somehow, I don't think voice actors can provide the most accurate info. >_> Besides, I saw someplace that Dwayne McDuffie says he doesn't plan to make a Ben 10: Alien Force movie, but I have yet to find the actual statement. As for the movie, I can't find any other info about it, so as per WP:VERIFIABILITY, it stays off until a source can be provided.--Twilight Helryx 15:26, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why are some episodes being removed?[edit]

While I understand that these episodes haven't aired in the US they have aired in the UK and there is enough information to at least give spoiler free summaries. Not to mention removing them completely implies they don't exist. Why is the American release date such a priority that when episodes air outside the US they are ignored until it airs over there? I thought Wikipedia was supposed to be worldwide. --82.32.214.113 (talk) 20:22, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Literacy required[edit]

"Meanwhile Ben is captured by an old enemy Kraab, Gwen and Kevin along with ship takes a flight to rescue Ben, and they are back on Earth." Can someone over the age of 5 please write these? I didn't see the episode, so I can't describe what happens, but I know that "They take flight and they are back on earth" isn't right.129.139.1.68 (talk) 18:10, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey All[edit]

I added the names of the directors and writers of all chapters of this series ok?.--OliverDF (talk) 23:25, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The colur-guides in the section Episode list[edit]

Shouldn't the table look like the following?

Seasons Episodes First air date Last air date Main antagonists
1 13 April 18, 2008 August 31, 2008 DNAliens
2 13 October 10, 2008 March 27, 2009 Highbreed
3 20 September 11, 2009 March 26, 2010 Vilgax

Incorrect Trivia[edit]

In the notes before season 2, it says "A live-action movie takes place between the two-part finale and two-part premiere of Season 3."

This is wrong. Alien Swarm takes place between season 3 of Alien Force and season 1 of Ultimate Alien. Note the introduction of Ben's car, which is not in season 3 but is used heavily in Ultimate Alien. Also, Kevin's car is used throughout season 3 and gets wrecked in Alien Swarm. Also, Elena and Nanomech never appear in Alien Force. Also, Alien Swarm was released after Alien Force Season 3, as shown in dates already on wikipedia.

I'd change this myself, but every time I try to change something on Wikipedia, I get attacked by a bot for formatting or something. 184.15.56.60 (talk) 04:11, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Alien Swarm takes place between seasons 2 and three as you can see ben still wearing Omnitrix (as it was destroyed in the last episode of Alien Force), and even if Ben got his car in Alien Swarm, he drove it for emergency purpose only as he didn't got his license until Ultimate Alien, as stated by Kevin in the episode Trade-Off. Arjun.pathak777 (talk) 04:09, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't we add more information to Season 3 Episodes?[edit]

I can see that there's quite a lot information about the episodes in season 1 & 2, but what about season 3? In many episodes of season 3, even the title is bigger than the story plot. At some places, you have summed up the whole plot in one line. Below I am sharing the list of episodes that are summed up in one line or so:- (Season 3) 1. Inferno 2.Fools Gold 3.Don't fear the repo 4.Singlehanded 5. If all else fails 6. In Charms Way (title bigger than episode) 7. Trade off 8. Busy Box 9. Primus 10. The Secret of Chromastone 11. Vendetta From the above you can see that out of the 20 episodes of the season 𝟭𝟭 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱, that means more than ½ the season is underdeveloped. So please try to add more information (plot) to these episodes or else people won't get the right information from Wikipedia about Ben 10 and this will be a thing of sadness for us. Arjun.pathak777 (talk) 04:04, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
