Untitled[edit]
1. IMDB combines the series 6 and series 7 given here into season 6. [1]
- IMDb is correct according to the DVDs. Have changed this page accordingly. - Aya T C 20:21, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- IMDB also lists The Mysterious Affair at Styles as being the first episode of series 3, not the last of series 2. 82.255.84.11 (talk) 22:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
2. Several single episodes listed here have been transmitted during UK reruns as two-parters. I have seen Death in the Clouds, One, Two, Buckle My Shoe, Peril At End House, The ABC Murders and The Mysterious Affair at Styles split like this. Current re-run of Peril At End House on ITV3 is also split (Wed 2008/09/17 and Fri 2008/09/19) Shannock9 (talk) 06:54, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Superintendent Spence[edit]
Should Superintendent Spence (Richard Hope) be counted as a recurring character? He's so far been in two episodes and I think he's in about four books, does that make him recurring? steveking89 22:02, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Given the episodic nature of The Labours of Hercules, I think that transcribing this into a two-hour film will defeat the best intentions of the scriptwriters. I understand that no further one-hour versions of short-stories are intended, so this will reduce the outstanding stories to a manageable Thirteenth Series comprising the remaining four full-length novels. Rif Winfield (talk) 14:00, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- There are also two "lost" stories that were published 2009 in Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks.--Nedergard (talk) 09:18, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
The spelling of Miss Whittaker's Christian name[edit]
I have altered the spelling of Miss Whittaker's Christian name in the episode "Hallowe'en Party". The spelling in the novel is Elizabeth (and not Elisabeth), and I don't think there's any reason to suppose that the spelling has been altered for the TV programme.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.205.8.194 (talk) 08:27, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
[edit]
Does anyone have an idea of possible U.S. air dates for series (season) 13? I kept seeing January 2013 for all of them, but recently noted a different set of dates, all UK air dates--but nothing for the U.S. Is there trouble getting them aired here, anyone know? It seems like the trouble started way back when Suchet became an associate producer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.21.154.18 (talk) 12:53, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Requested move 12 August 2015[edit]

The result of the move request was: not moved. While the OP makes a reasonable argument, the consensus is that we should stick with the current title, both to match the parent article and that the proposed title is potentially ambiguous. Jenks24 (talk) 15:37, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
List of Agatha Christie's Poirot episodes → List of Poirot episodes – prefixing with the authorial title makes sense for the main article to disambiguate from the book character, but unlike Miss Marple (TV series) and Agatha Christie's Marple there is only one Poirot series to contend with. 64.228.91.73 (talk) 21:20, 12 August 2015 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:18, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- Comment I doubt that most people that people familiar with British TV would automatically know that there was only one Poirot series. Miss Marple (TV series) and Agatha Christie's Marple are separate series. GregKaye 01:35, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose. I can see the logic of the proposal, but Poirot currently (and since 2007) redirects to Hercule Poirot which covers the character in all appearances, not just this series. These include the 39 episodes of Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple, which are in a sense also Poirot episodes. It makes more sense IMO to leave it as is. Andrewa (talk) 05:35, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose the main article is called Agatha Christie's Poirot, you will have to rename that article first -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 12:15, 20 August 2015 (UTC)

Timeline[edit]
Despite what the article says about the timeline, the timeline is far from clear, and not necessarily from 1935 on. For example, two separate early episodes ("How Does Your Garden Grow?" and "The Double Clue") include Russian aristocrats who just fled from the 1917 revolutions, placing these episodes within a few years of 1917. In "The Double Clue", the Countess talks about being new to the country and knowing no-one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thephotog (talk • contribs) 16:14, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
Syntax erros for table for Series 12[edit]
@U-Mos: I have attempted to correct the syntax errors in the table for series 12 but I'm not fully sure what were the intentions for the changes. Please check things are now all right. Many thanks. Thincat (talk) 21:51, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
