(Sorts of appendage)[edit]

are limbs appendages, say for example, is an antennae a limb?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.89.173.49 (talk) 10:27, 20 June 2005‎

Touche. And if you disallow antennae because they are not prehensile, are elephants' trunks and octopuses' tentacles limbs? Myles325a 04:51, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Conversion to Dab, and additional entries)[edit]

This article needs to be cleaned up and made into a disambiguation WalterWalrus3 19:19, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I second that notion. The first sentence is already almost a disamb in itself. - IstvanWolf 22:15, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I think I'm going to mark it. I came here looking for tree limb (from the branches page), found mostly human limb, and a picture of the moon. CSZero 19:04, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

what about LIMB, the msn talk abbreviation?— Preceding unsigned comment added by CSZero (talkcontribs) 19:04, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changed to disambig. Created limb (anatomy). Michael Daly 16:16, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Limbs as part of a boat?[edit]

I've heard the lyrics "You set my limbs locked hard afloat, lifted my lonesome sail".

Perhaps someone could add that as well? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.247.170.105 (talk) 20:44, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"**Limb, in botany, the border or upper spreading part of a sympetallous corolla, or of a petal or sepal"[edit]

"Limb" appears nowhere in Botany; a botanist would perhaps be able to determine if any of the three senses or applications of "limb" mentioned in the invalid Dab entry titling this section are actually addressed in that article, or (more likely) in other articles that i would be at a loss to guess at.
