Covid 19 deaths[edit]

I know that article discussion pages are nor the Reference Desk, but I assume my questions are of general interest and it would be great and a service to all readers if this article or 2020 coronavirus outbreak in Washington (state) could provide this information.

1) How did Kirkland Life Care Center and Kirkland hospital "achieve" a mortality rate of roughly 25%, seen nowhere else in the world?

2) How can it be, that patients died at the Life Care Center, without even trying to save their life by transferring to an ICU?
