Old plagiarism[edit]

Sad to report an old article from Mississippi Today appears to have copied unattributed from this article here in 2019 (our article at that time). -Indy beetle (talk) 06:57, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:47, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Sturmvogel 66: Forgive me for my potential impatience Sturm, but any progress on this? -Indy beetle (talk) 08:30, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I cannot open the source links for File:Fielding L. Wright.jpg and File:Sam Lumpkin.jpg
    • And these?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:16, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
      • Removed the Lumpkin photo since I can't source it and the copyright status in light of what info about the cited source is presented seems doubtful. I changed the Wright file. The source link is dead there because MDAH suspended its Flickr account, but when it was live (which I remember briefly) they had dozens of photos uploaded with "no known copyright restrictions". -Indy beetle (talk) 07:31, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link ex-officio, legislative, executive, bill, Republican, Democrat
    • Done.
  • Alexander Kelso Davis, served delete the comma
    • Done.
  • Suggest that you standardize on either title or sentence case for your refs, not a requirement though--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 12:51, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • How they are styled here should be how they were styled as original.
