The second row in the table with the dates next to the right margin states "330° Yushui Feb.4-19" whereas it should state "330° Feb.18-19"; the date 4 just after Feb. should change to 18 User:burst3 —Preceding comment was added at 18:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The same happens with the "180° Qiufen" row in in this table; it states "180° Qiufen Sep.7-24" whereas it should state "180° Qiufen Sep.23-24"; the date 7 immediately after Sep. should change to 23. User:burst3

No spring year?[edit]

What does it mean that there are years without a lichun? "A year without Lichun is called 無春年 (no spring year). 無春年 is also known as 寡婦年 (widow year) in northern China or 盲年 (blind year) in southern China." When does this occur? --BB12 (talk) 06:42, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

When the Chinese New Year (which is determined by lunar phases, and may happen on a day between January 22 and February 22) occurs late, after the Lichun, and the year, determined according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar is not a leap year, containing only 12 short (354 or 355 days), and not 13 months (383, 384 or 385 days), so that that the nest Chinese New Year happens before the next Lichun.
