Importance?[edit]

The importance is hard to judge. It was a very important chess book in its time, but not now. Bubba73 (Who's attacking me now?), 23:34, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know it was important at the time? If you have a source you could add it to the article perhaps? SunCreator (talk) 23:59, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've heard it referred to several times. When I added the chess project tag, I didn't know what importance to give the article. But I concur with your evaluation. Bubba73 (Who's attacking me now?), 00:02, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

I am no Spanish speaker, but the English translation of the book's title seems rather odd. I can guess (and correct me if I'm wrong or the article if I'm right) that "The Book of the Liberal Invention and Art of the Game of Chess" would be more appropriate. 188.169.229.30 (talk) 07:34, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
