Birth Date[edit]

Thurow's date of birth was listed as May 7, 1938, but my copy of the Balliol College Register lists him as born "5 July 1938". I'm leaving his year of birth, and removing the rest pending further confirmation of one of these dates. Sir Paul 01:20, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Soviet Union quote[edit]

This quote is problematic. While many commentators attribute it to Thurow, it appears to be from a 1981 book co-authored with Robert Heilbroner [1], which was copied from a 1975 book [2] written only by Heilbroner. So it really isn't Thurow's, and the commentators are therefore not so reliable. Since this is a BLP I will remove it, surely better critiicism of Thurow can be found.John Z (talk) 01:43, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
