This article should be combined with the article entitled Magdalen Islands, as there is much overlap/duplication between the two.

Provincial Designation[edit]

It should probably be included how these islands became part of Quebec. Especially seeing as, geographically, most would think they would belong to one of the Atlantic provinces.
