A live action Super Friends?[edit]

The intro describes this pair of specials as a "live-action version of Super Friends" [sic]. The absences of SF mainstays Superman and Wonder Woman are "explained" a few paragraphs later as being due to their live-action rights being used in the Chris Reeve films and the Lynda Carter TV series, respectively. Fine, but where is Aquaman? --Tbrittreid (talk) 20:40, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Should Huntress Be Listed As Batman And Catwoman's child?[edit]

Abbythecat (talk) 23:47, 10 September 2014 (UTC) In the comic books, Huntress is the daughter of Batman & Catwoman. Huntress is in LEGENDS with Adam Wests BATMAN. So this means Huntress is the daughter of the West Batman and one Catwoman (either Meriwether, Newmar or Kitt). Oddly, Huntress looks about 20 in LEGENDS, which aired in 1979. So she would have been born around 1959. That means, on the BATMAN TV series, Batman and one Catwoman had the child Huntress about 7 years before the series began. And the show never mentions this. Would I be allowed to list this? Or would it be deleted? AbbythecatAbbythecat (talk) 23:47, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do not make assumptions. We do not know that she was meant to be that exact character, and nothing in the show ever indicated any such connection. Doczilla @SUPERHEROLOGIST 09:24, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Abbythecat (talk) 20:51, 11 September 2014 (UTC)Yes, but then are we to assume none of the super heroes or villains in LEGENDS have the same real names or origins as the comic book versions? I always went by the comic book origins and names unless the TV/movie versions offered different ones (as in INCREDIBLE HULK). If not, then the TV Robin has no origin. And no villains have real names. Did you see my comment on the BATMAN TV SERIES talk page? You may like to take a crack at it. In THE BATS KOW TOW, Gordon mentions his grandchildren. In BATMANS WATERLOO, he says Barbara is his only child. So Batgirl was a single mom. Right? AbbythecatAbbythecat (talk) 20:51, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Correct, the TV Robin has no origin. For editing purposes, we make no assumptions about these characters' secret identities or origins. If you want to see them as having origins and secret identities in your personal interpretation, that is perfectly fine. Having our own "head canon" can enhance the fun. We cannot add details like that to an encyclopedic entry, though. Doczilla @SUPERHEROLOGIST 07:56, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Danuta[edit]

Danuta Pfeiffer (formerly Danuta Rylko Soderman) has gone on the record that she was not the Danuta who appeared in this project. I have edited the article accordingly. See http://www.danutapfeiffer.com/single-post/2015/02/21/My-Black-Canary-Daze as well as http://noblemania.blogspot.com/2011/09/super-70s-and-80s-legends-of.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.247.21.65 (talk) 04:58, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
