Edit Plans[edit]

Hi fellow Wikipedians,

There are several missing points within this article. Firstly, the lead section contains information about Lu’s inspiration for her writing without the article further mentioning this inspiration in its body. Secondly, according to Wikipedia guide pamphlets, an article on a book should have several basic tenets such as a lead section, history/background section, plot section, analysis section, reception section, and a genre/style section. Several of these sections are missing in this article (history/background, analysis, genre/style). Additionally, in the plot section, there is information concerning the next books in the series rather than the topic of this article which is the first book, Legend. This information includes the characters Elector Primo Stavropoulos and Anden Stavropoulos who appear prominently in the next two books in the Legend series.

I plan on making some edits to this article to help amend some of these discrepancies in form and content. I wanted to layout my edits first to invite any comments or suggestions by fellow Wikipedians. I plan to adjust the lead section to contain more information that reflects the content I plan on adding to the article. I plan on creating a “background” section as well as an “analysis” and a “style” section. I did some research on Lu’s past and her inspirations for this work as well as several reviews (that I plan to add to the reception section to create a more broad range of perspectives to it) and analyses that would supply the beginnings of segments for these sections that can then further be contributed to by other Wikipedians. I also intend to cut irrelevant information such as the characters mentioned above to make the article’s content adhere to the article’s topic.

These are the edit plans I have currently, but will be updating the talk page in case further edit plans are needed. Please feel free to look at the biography I added to my Wikipedia dashboard sandbox for this article. Rrichter456 (talk) 13:37, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
