I reworded this and stuck at the end of the paragraph. I don't know if I should simply make a new page for it under Lee Hamilton and just have a see also to both pages or should it stay at the bottom. I've seen it both ways. Falphin 18:29, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Has Lee Hamilton never worked for any company, never served on any board of directors ? Kind of important to know if this man has a vested interest in any certain companies.

[1] At this web link (Consortium News) you will find persuasive evidence that Lee Hamilton perjured himself and deliberately distorted the truth about the so-called “October surprise” of 1980, when the Reagan campaign conspired with the Islamic extremist government of Iran to sabotage President Carter’s attempts to have the American hostages released from Iran. The Republicans were successful in preventing the hostages’ release until after the election, thus assuring Carter’s defeat and Reagan’s victory. http://www.consortiumnews.com/2010/080610.html

NPOV dispute[Life After Congress]

Disclaimer: I don't know Hamilton, either as a person or a politician, and neither like nor dislike him. Thus, I'm not in a good position to say precisely how to correct the problems below.

The article refers to Hamilton's ``meddling in`` a commission of which he was vice chair. This is not neutral. Perhaps he's been accused of meddling. But by whom?

The following paragraph, beginning with ``For instance``, also seems to violate NPOV, but it's hard to say how, since the paragraph is not coherent. I can't correct this, since I don't know what the writer intended.

The next paragraph refers to ``charges that the report was predetermined``. Charges from whom? Shosty64 (talk) 18:56, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

I do not see the part about meddling, I think it has been removed. The article has been improved and no longer merits this tag. Thanks. --Politicsislife (talk) 17:17, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
