I've looked for the definition of the word 'idiocide' used in this article, and cannot seem to define it or even so much as find it in another context. Can someone confirm it's not a typo or maybe document it if it's Lee Francis' neologism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:301:77A7:9900:49FD:3E81:D4C6:5A9A (talk) 00:28, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Father/Son confusion[edit]

Lee Francis II was governor (as detailed in the box to the right). Lee Francis III was NOT. This article is about him, not his father. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.109.103.33 (talk) 21:25, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Laguna Pueblo / Anishinaabe?[edit]

Lee Francis and his sister Paula Gunn Allen have the same parents, yet she is listed as having some Sioux ancestry and he is listed as having some Anishinaabe ancestry. I've never seen a good source for Lee being Anishinaabe and no mention of Paula being Anishinaabe. Paula was a non-enrolled Laguna Pueblo descendant who didn't meet their blood quantum, so the same must be true of Lee. Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 03:44, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
