I'm extrapolating a reference on the page that Hawkeye's name was changed so as not to remind people of the MASH character. Zepheus (ツィフィアス) 16:51, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um, the character is referred to as "Hawkeye" in the movie... so the change wasn't anything to do with MASH. Maybe the original reference was the change from "Bumpo" to "Poe"? JustIgnoreMe 21:18, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Cooper Pathfinder.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Cooper Pathfinder.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. "One shot, one kill" Really?[edit]

From the article: "When it comes time to fire his trusty flintlock, he lives by the rule, 'One shot, one kill.'"

I just searched the text of all five books in the series and this phrase does not appear in any. Given that the phrase is in quotes in the article, it makes one think that it is an actual phrase or at least motto of the character. In fact, the phrase "one shot" occurs a total of 2 times in the text of all five books. The phrase "one kill" zero times. Thus, I've removed this phrase as issuing from the character's mouth and replaced it with a general one. 24.55.11.112 (talk) 22:01, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
