Issue[edit]

Where is the "Le Tigre" Clothing article??

It's probably just waiting and waiting for you to write it.

> I think it was a pretty obsecure clothing line anyway, and unless you can find enough info and theres alot of people who want it, theres no point of mkaing one,

I want an article for LeTigre clothing!! I wear it.. Guanaco152003 21:57, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that I mentioned that the band may have taken their name from the apparel company. I don't think that they were so obscure. They had memorable, yet stupid ad campaign (Hold le tigre! Hold le tigre!), and yes, their clothes were basically Lacoste clones, but the whole enterprise had some level of charm. - Two Halves, who a appreciates a good polo shirt now and then, especially when he can get one for cheap at the thrift shop!!!

Criticism[edit]

I've integrated most of the content from the "Criticism" section into the main article, and attempted to remove the POV. None of the criticism was sourced, and I couldn't find any sources to confirm it, so I removed some of the vaguer references to what some fans feel. I removed the criticism header because, after my POV edits, there really isn't any criticism left. I'm sure there are plenty of publications or other artists who have criticized the band for going commercial, but until somebody cites one I don't think it's encyclopedic. I did leave in one reference to criticism, concerning the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival, because the critique is detailed in the festival's article. --djrobgordon 19:35, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hot Topic[edit]

Neither John Cassavetes, nor Jean Genet, are mentioned in the song "Hot Topic", as the article states. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.245.194.253 (talk) 16:05, 11 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Feminist Sweepstakes.jpg[edit]

Image:Feminist Sweepstakes.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Infobox picture[edit]

JD is on the left and Kathleen is in the middle, so who is the person singing on the right of the Infobox picture? It sure doesn't look like Johanna. NewExLionTamer (talk) 20:37, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Almost looks like a still from this video (from Last Call with Carson Daly), but it's not quite matching. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG9UJJposmg How about this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEiR0iL2m8c Fxm12 (talk) 19:28, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reference Number 6[edit]

I was curious as to what reference 6 was supposed to be linked to as it appears to only be a link to Spotify's general website? --Pbond1119 (talk) 03:57, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
