Cambridge[edit]

I have removed the mention of his being at Cambridge. The link to the Footlights page is dead, and not only does he not get a mention in Venn, he didn't mention Cambridge in his Who's Who in the Theatre entry, though he lists his three schools. Tim riley (talk) 16:47, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Info-box[edit]

I see that a box has come and gone. Gone is, I think, better for this article. The information in it was singularly unhelpful to the reader. Boxes can be useful (cabinet posts held, cricket stats etc) but the simple rehash here of dates of birth and death and name of spouse and so on adds nothing useful and takes up prime space on the page. I agree precisely with what Tim riley just said. -- Ssilvers (talk) 18:32, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
