Graves?[edit]

What the heck is going on with the pictures of the grave? How does that help to understand the person? Recommend that a better picture be found and delete this one in the meantime. The article is better off picture-free -- Vonfraginoff 12:26, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Seems morbid, creepy. and disrespectful. Most if not every other single deceased person is not represented on their Wikipedia page by pictures of their graves.Kuahmel (talk) 06:09, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Laurence A. Tisch Professor of History[edit]

Could someone please explain the connection with this chair at Harvard, currently held by Niall Ferguson? Was it endowed by Tisch or merely named by Harvard in his honour? If so, why? --The Sage of Stamford (talk) 21:14, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Service During World War II[edit]

Laurence Tisch was an officer in the OSS and served as an Army cryptanalyst during World War II. This is completely missing from the article.--TL36 (talk) 22:15, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues.
