Notability[edit]

A Google books link is not using Google as a source, it is referencing the underlying book. The subject wrote a book that was made into a film. That is generally notable per WP:AUTHOR "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series..." Legacypac (talk) 05:49, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. I was just about to post criteria 3. "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews." Easily passed having had his work made into movies. FloridaArmy (talk) 12:13, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
