First of all please accept my heart felt congratulations on your efforts to cover every possible aspects related to Shree Swaminarayan. On some of your articles, I do disagree with some part of the content. But I can not criticize you for having different opinion than mine. However, if you do not mind as time permits me, I would like to comment on one by one article where I disagree with you or may be how you can enhance the article to make it more informative. I am sure you are aware of small feuds going on in the Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday, and I am of the opinion that this public place should not be the battle ground to resolve the issues. After all the one who has power to resolve is no present among us today. I am hopeful that you will welcome others’ opinions and give them a chance to convince you to edit the article as appropriate. As there are several branches in the current followers of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagawan all may not agree with your views nor may you agree with their views. But to be fair to all, it may be a good idea to acknowledge as such in the article, where your views are not same as others. After all that is why this was created. When your view point and the others are not same it should not be taken as that either is absolutely correct.

As we know anyone who follows Shree Swaminarayan Bhagawan, follows via a branch of this Sampraday; and as such he will have bias towards whichever branch or Guruji or Swamiji or Acharya he follows. I do not think you will be an exception to that and you must be following one of those previously listed and such you are not beyond bias towards your opinion. As they say Bhuvo dhune to nariyar ghar bhani fenke ja! In order to make it absolutely clear to all of us readers and to show your honesty and integrity that you are absolutely neutral (which is very unlikely .. however hard one may try) person on the subject of Shree Swaminarayan, first you should disclose if you follow one of the branch, Guruji or Swamiji or Acharya. Once you come clean and are willing to accept the argument or view point of others and acknowledging as such may alleviate your fear of public scrutiny. I have seen on some of your work unbelievable number of comments, contrary to your view points. If your Goal is truly to be Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan and if you truly believe in Him as all Karta Harta..as it is said “mari marji vinare ko I thi tarnu nav today”, than you should entertain other sides views also.

For fairness, I must disclose here that I am an NRI in Midwest USA, and go to Shree Swaminarayan Temple affiliated by faith with Shree Laxminarayan Dev Gadi. I believe in same Acharya which is followed by majority of the three Temple Trusts of the Dakshin Vibhag of Shree Laxminarayan Dev Gadi, which is commonly known as Vadtal Gadi. This Gadi consists of four Desh(s) encompassing, Vadtal, Dholera, Junaghadh and Gadhada. These four Desh encompass the four main Temples Founded by Shreeji Maharaj Himself. Many of these temples of this Gadi are managed and under the control of three trusts made up of these four Desh Main Temples.

Shree Laxminarayan Dev Mandir and Tabana (owned by) Manidr’s Trust number A-141-Kheda…. Commonly known as Vadtal Mandir Trust, operated by a not for profit religious trust Known and formed under the Bombay act of 1950. Currently this Trust is supervised by Gujarat Government Charity Commissioner’s office in Nadiad. You can obtain copies of the said trust info from the Charity commissioner’s office in Nadiad. This trust controls many temples in Gujarat/Maharashtra area including the large temples in Vadtal, Dholera, Sarngpur, Bomabay, Surat etc. New trustees of this trust were elected May 2009, and Sadguru Swamiji Shree Ghanshymprakshdasswami is the current chairman of this Trust. Back in 2003 many saints associated with this Gadi, had chose to retain Shree Rakeshprasad as the Acharya for the Gadi, under a contract signed by him. (I have access to the video of the contracting ceremony), hence he is retained as a contracted employee of the organization. Under the terms of this contract, he does not posses any of the rights as Acharya normally given to him by Shreeji Maharaj. You must be aware that there is a lawsuit currently on going in the Nadiad court about the Acharya dispute, as per the instruction of the Supreme court of India in 2007.

It must be made it clear that the Vadtal Temple Trust does not own the Vadtal.com web site and as such it is not an official mouth peace for Vadtal Gadi. You must check the ownership of the site before stating facts. Vadtal.com can be considered an unofficial website of the Vadtal Temple only. As you are a follower of Shree Swaminarayan, you must know that the Vadtal Gadi’s Acharya’s official resident has been Raghuvirvadi and not Shree Laximinarayn Dev Temple, AKA Vadtal Temple. To say otherwise is untrue. The custodian Trustee of the Vadtal Temple Trustee, as per the skim of the trust (bylaws of the Trust) is the Acharya of the Vadtal Gadi. Please contact the Nadiad Charity commissioner and obtain the name of the custodian Acharya for the Vadtal trust to enhance your knowledge. However, only the elected Trustees of Vadtal trustee hava chosen to accept Shree Rakeshprasad as Acharya for them.

Similarly, the Junaghadha Desh Temples are controlled by the Junaghadha Shree Ratharaman Dev Temple Trust, and the Gadhada Desh Temples are controlled by Gadhada Shree Gopinathji Trust. It is interesting to note here that the Gadhada Temple’s official Web site does not endorse Shree Rakeshprasad nor the trustees of that trust endorse Shree Rakeshprasad as Acharya. Also the trustee of the Junaghadha Temple Trust does not endorse Shree Rakeshprasad nor do the trustees of that trust endorse Shree Rakeshprasad as Acharya. So you can see out of the Three Major Trusts only one Trust endorses him. These are facts that you should verify on your own also. Now back to this Article….. you have stated as follows on your page here… “The Laxminarayan Dev Gadi (Devnagari: लक्षिमिनारायन देव गदी) is one of the two Gadis that together form the Swaminarayan Sampraday. It is headquartered at the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtal and controls the Dakshin Vibhag.” I must with due respect to your efforts must point followings;

1. Let us first say, we do not call Gandhiji as Gandhi, than why one should call Shree Laxminarayan Dev .. Laximinarayn Dev. It shows disrespect! 2. Also, if you say that “Two Gadis form the Swaminarayan Sampraday” … is also a mis-statement based on your own views (not mine .. I agree with your statement here), as you also include other organizations such as BAPS etc. as part of Swaminarayan Sampraday! I again also must point out that it is not “Swaminarayan” but it should be “Shree Swaminarayan”! Once again it shows disrespect. 3. You have stated that “It is headquartered at the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtal and controls the Dakshin Vibhag.”. First of all, if it is true pleas provide the reference where you have found such to be true. I have presented facts previously as to how the Shree Laxminarayan Gadi of Dakhin Desh is operated. You are mixing Gadi with Temples! The fact is the Gadi belongs to the Acharya and Temples belongs to the Trusts! The Vadatal Gadi’s Acharya’s official resident and place is in Raghuvir Vadi located in Vadtal Village, not Mandir. Both the Acharya and the Trust of the Temple hold a separate seal and Letter Head. You must check your facts. 4. “…..Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtal and controls the Dakshin Vibhag”. This is a mis-statement, as shown earlier that the Dakshin Vibhag contains various Desh and Trusts, which separately control their own Temples and not the entire Vibhag, as you have indicated. 5. Also you have mis-wrote “(Devnagari: लक्षिमिनारायन देव गदी)” …. it should be in Gujarati or in devnagri as ksh should be half and no N but n: and Gadi shuld be Gaadi.

Now dear friend, above six things should be immediately corrected in your two sentences. And you should appropriately edit and correct the facts to other related topics you have authored. You can contact me any time for more at girishapatel@hotmail.com. Thank you and may Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwanno Rajipo Apani uper rhe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.13.178.210 (talk) 22:37, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Long-term rigging of consensus in the Swaminarayan/BAPS topic area[edit]

(This is a mass message, sent without reviewing the details of this particular page.)

A sockpuppet investigation has uncovered evidence of extensive years-long POV-pushing by at least seven editors (with seven more under review) regarding BAPS and the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. Please see the documentation at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard § Systematic NPOV review needed in the BAPS topic area for an overview of the issues, and please see the editor interaction report (all pages this article this talkpage) to gauge the extent of the disruption. If the disruption is extensive, this article will need to be thoroughly reviewed for content that paints BAPS in an unencyclopedically positive light, and its history will need to be reviewed for instances of relevant negative information being removed. For now, I have tagged this page with a {{POV}} tag. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 23:29, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

IP changes[edit]

Hi 175.100.133.86...hopeful you see this on the talk page before more page breaking edits. Whats being added? Looks like a lot of reorders. There's limited sources on this branch so maybe some content can be removed or new sourced content can be added to the page. I would suggest trying a sandbox page or previewing the edit before making it to not break the page structure. Kbhatt22 (talk) 04:10, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Kbhatt22: IPs don't get pings, so I've left them a {{talkback}}. If they continue making erratic edits, feel free to ping me. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 05:35, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
