How is the Suez Canal supplying freshwater to the area?[edit]
The Suez Canal has no locks and seawater freely flows through it. Then why does it say that it supplies freshwater to the Lake? The Suez Canal is salt water flowing from the Med and Red Sea (depending on tidal influence). Lake Timsah is salty.
