The bear[edit]

...that had crossed the ice from Kurzeme to the Estonian island. This is wrong - from what I've heard the bear either swam or floated on piece of ice to Ruhnu, he was spoted when he was near the island or on the island, so it is unknown where he came from (altough I remember that Diena later speculated that he came from Vidzeme). After some time he vanished from the island and a bit later a bear was spoted in Dundaga and since bears don't live in Kurzeme it was speculated that it was the same bear ~~Xil...sist! 01:21, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mea culpa. I should have double checked the facts instead of relying on my somewhat fuzzy memory of this news story. —Zalktis (talk) 08:09, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sieviešu hokeja klubs (SHK) "Laima" Riga[edit]

Does anyone out there know if this Latvian women's ice hockey club is in any way connected to/sponsored by A/S "Laima"? — Zalktis (talk) 06:53, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I doubt it - it dosen't use Laima logo, nor full company name ~~Xil...sist! 17:41, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
