Image copyright problem with Image:MonedaBombing.jpg[edit]

The image Image:MonedaBombing.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --21:51, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surely this picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Golpe_de_Estado_1973.jpg should be here?

Redirect[edit]

My reason of moving this page is because it have to be La Moneda Palace, not Palacio..., it is incoherent. --MisterWiki talking! :-D - 01:32, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name Translation[edit]

Hi, I think the name translation does not represent a true translation at all, let me explain: the palace in spanish is called "La moneda" which means "The coin" as in "The coin palace" or "The palace of the coin". It is not called "The Mint Palace" bcause they don't mint there, in that case it would be "casa de moneda", lit: "House of coin" (which is in another part of the city, and where coins are actually minted). The name is a remnant when it was a minting place (called "la Real casa de moneda", "the royal mint"). In short, the "la" in "La moneda" changes it's meaning. 190.110.98.234 (talk) 16:52, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
