Pronunciation Guide[edit]
Do we really want to keep this pronunciation guide? Where is it from? Because Kyocera is short for "Kyoto Ceramics" and Kyoto isn't pronounced "ki-yo-to," it's pronounced "kyo-to." If this is their standard pronunciation guidance for users in English-speaking countries, that's OK, but otherwise, I'd like to update it or get rid of it, because while I agree that "Kai-Oh-Sera" and some of the other more bizarre pronunciations are grating on the ear, "Kee-oh-sera" doesn't seem to be "correct" either. It certainly isn't in Japanese.
