Given their importance in the language, perhaps we should attempt to create an article on Japanese onomatopoeia (Giseigo/Gitaigo/Giongo). Comments? Exploding Boy 16:33, September 11, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks. Perhaps these pages should be combined... Exploding Boy 16:46, September 11, 2005 (UTC)

(--strange, when I searched for Japanese onomatopoeia I got nothing, but now that I've added a link above it appears... Exploding Boy 16:47, September 11, 2005 (UTC))

What are hup or sup supposed to be? Such "words" don't exist in Japanese, unless you use a lone 'p' to represent a sokuon (glottal stop), i.e. ッ, which I think is a little clumsy. --FAeR 20:04, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please avoid the use of greengrocers' apostrophes when writing in plural, you illiterate dumbfucks. 81.191.68.231 (talk) 08:18, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
