NPOV[edit]

Somebody tagged this article for neutrality, but didn't leave a note here saying why. I don't see any unsubstantiable or biased claims on this page. Since it was tagged for cleanup in the same month, I'm guessing that the same person who tagged it for cleanup tagged it for neutrality. Clearly, this page is lacking in material, but the closest thing to a fanboy tone that I see is the statement that they were popular, which is fact and is demonstrated by the fact that they acheived "gold album" status. Can we get some comments about how this page violates NPOV and get the problems fixed? Or, if nobody objects, can we get that neutrality tag removed?--GuySperanza (talk) 18:00, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Krokus logo onblack.jpg[edit]

Image:Krokus logo onblack.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 23:13, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rock Band[edit]

Should it say that ballroom blitz was also featured in the videogame Rock Band besides GH80s? Jim88Argentina (talk) 23:16, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

I think a trivia section would make the article more interesting. Does anyone in the US remember a commercial (circa 2002) for a SUV where a "Suburban Mom" in her late thirties was thinking about her younger and wilder years and kept mentioning "Krokus" as her favorite band and concert? In the off-chance that someone close to the band is reading this, them or their management should remember the commercial and provide us with the details to include it in the article. :-) Philosopher2king (talk) 23:43, 8 June 2008 (UTC)philosopher2king[reply]

2020 band status[edit]

User TheSickBehemoth and I had an "undo discussion" over the status of the band in mid-2020. I had changed the status to 'done' based on the their stating "KROKUS Announces 'Final' Concerts In USA And Canada" and that the tour's end would also end the band. As the tour was stopped due to the CV-19 pandemic, it seemed the band had ended. TheSickBehemoth said this was not correct and changed the status – but had no sources to back it up. A edit or two later, TheSickBehemoth did provide a link to a reference that stated the tour had been "suspended". That is probably just enough to show in the article that the band is still active. But I did a bit more searching and found that, more recently in April, the band themselves stated on Instagram that the tour would start again in 2021. Normally, social media statements like this cannot be used as sources, but there is an exception called WP:ABOUTSELF which allows it. I have kept the status as-is and added the band's quotation & reference here. Knowing things is great, but on Wikipedia one must also have WP:RS. 😊 ░▒▓ №∶72.234.220.38 (talk) 05:28, 25 June 2020 (UTC) ▓▒░[reply]
