Wasn't it Kona that first introduced the sloping top tube which made most hardtail Konas really recognisable from a distance? (Until everybody and their dog started copying it!) Or am I mistaken? If so, could that bit of info be added? HybridRed 16:26, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They were certainly very early to it; their 1990 era frames were way ahead of the competition. I have some old photos of my Explosif from that era I should add to the wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SteveLoughran (talk • contribs)
