At the end of the movie, friends tell that in English:

The gangsters own the brothel[edit]

Dylan wrote the song for an earlier movie, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.[edit]
While this film uses Bob Dylan's song of the same title, Dylan in fact wrote the song expressly for another movie -- namely, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (a classic Western directed by Sam Peckinpah, released in 1973).
