Fair use rationale for Image:Knighs-of-god.jpg

Image:Knighs-of-god.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. ISFDB link

A link to to the Internet Speculative Fiction Database using {{isfdb title}} is a standard addition to any article or article section about a published work of (written) science fiction, fantasy, or horror. It provides useful information about the various publications of the work, and via links, about other works, if any, of the author. It is not linkspam. From the {{isfdb title}} template documentation: "The isfdb title template message is usually placed in the External links or References section of a speculative fiction story's Wikipedia article to link it to that story's bibliography on the Internet Speculative Fiction Database (ISFDB). The tag is intended to inform people that a detailed bibliography is available on ISFDB as a support reference for the article."

In this case, there has, to date, been only a single publication, but the ISFDB record gives the page count, publisher, ISBN, cover price, and the date of publication (data which are not currently included in the article). It also shows that these details have been verified by a specific, named individual. It also is a confirming source for any of these details that might be quoted in the article in future. It also, through connecting links, allows the reader to find other works (one in this case) by the author, and information about other publications of the publisher, and the publisher's corporate connections -- specifically its affiliation with Collins (later HarperCollins). All of this may be of use to at least some readers. It does NOT add "no useful content". Moreover, should there be a reprint of this book in future it is likely that the ISFDB record will be updated before the Wikipedia article. and the link will automatically provide readers who follow it with such updated information -- Similarly should the author write and publish additional SF, that information will in all probability be added promptly to the author's ISFDB record, and thus be available though the link for those readers that choose to follow it.
