Fair use rationale for Image:KissersAndKillers.jpg[edit]

Image:KissersAndKillers.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Question about The Choir - Kissers and Killers 25th Anniversary Remaster[edit]

What is your opinion on where to put the 25th Anniversary Remaster of Kissers and Killers from 2018, which features a new studio recording of that entire album acoustically? I'm thinking the acoustic album should be referenced on the original Kissers and Killers page in a separate section and not on its own page. However, because the acoustic album is an entirely new studio work, I think it should be included in the list of Studio Albums on the main band page. de-plumed from 2010 is listed there because it is a new studio work (even though it acoustically re-interprets prior songs), so I think the same should be afforded to the newly-recorded Kissers and Killers acoustic project. What do you think? TARDIS (talk) 00:39, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TARDIS: I moved this discussion here rather than keep it on my talk page because it makes sense to have it a central location rather than in my little corner of the world.
I have the new disc (as well as the original) and know the acoustic disc. In my opinion, the details should go in a new section at the bottom of this article. Not to place it on the same level as this album, but you can see a good layout at The Joshua Tree where there was both a 20th anniversary remastered edition and a 30th anniversary tour and reissue. 'de-plumed is a bit different because it's a collection of different works, not one new work. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:55, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
: @Walter Görlitz: Thanks for your reply, and I agree with your assessment about adding the 25th anniversary re-release to this page. I'm still partial to adding The Acoustic Sessions into the list of studio albums on the main page, but directing that link to the appropriate section on the Kissers and Killers page, if you're okay with that. Updated and expanded article[edit]

I am in the process of revising all the album entries for the Choir, removing POV language, adding relevant information with reliable sources and doing basic formatting and cleanup, and the current version of Kissers and Killers as of today is the result. This involved a trip to the Los Angeles Central Library to collect much of the information listed in the Bibliography, as well as any available archived print versions of CCM Magazine. (Unfortunately, the library's print archives for this source only go back to the year 2000.) Because this album was released at a time when there weren't internet archives yet in place, there are a number of significant reviews of this album that are simply not accessible on the Web or available in the Internet Archive. These are listed specifically at CMNexus.org: The Choir. Any assistance with securing and adding content from these reviews would be most appreciated! TARDIS (talk) 23:13, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
