Missing info on Kingsport, Canada[edit]
in the anne of green gables books and movies, there is mention of a town called kingsport. why is there no mention of this on wikipedia's page for kingsport? 65.32.48.159 (talk) 22:23, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
If memory serves, I think Montgomery borrowed the name "Kingsport" for a fictional name of one of the Nova Scotia locations from Anne's past. I think the Kingsport in the novel is a much bigger place. However, it would be great to get the precise reference in the novel and add it to the page as a literary association if anyone has it.
