The lifeboat station[edit]

I did not see the point on having a seperate section on the lifeboat station and have moved the information to the introduction. I also think someone should start an article on the school, which I may start tomorrow. Ross Rhodes (T C) Sign! 21:30, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Funny, as I read the article I thought the parts about the school and the lifeboat station don't really belong in the introduction; they're too detailed for that part. I would have moved them but if somebody's working on the article I'll leave it. EdDavies (talk) 21:20, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kinghorn Ferry[edit]

I have come across a reference to the "Ferry of Kinghorn" in an 1816 article by Robert Stevenson. From the article I would guess that the ferry needed to be substantial, so was probably crossing from Leith, but had difficulty closing to the shore due to lack of depth of water. Can anyone confirm that there was a ferry at this period, and from whence it operated? Thanks, Martin of Sheffield (talk) 22:42, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
