Memorial[edit]

I heard that there is now a memorial to Menachem Begin, the man that ordered its bombing. Is it true? --Error 5 July 2005 01:10 (UTC)

Dates of opening[edit]

My mother visited Israel with her family in the early 1960s (certainly before the 1967 war--the Old City was under Jordanian control at the time), and she says that she stayed at the King David then. This would indicate that the article's implication that the hotel was closed between 1948 and 1967 is incorrect, but we should probably get more information on the hotel's status then.

It's currently owned by the Dan Hotel chain, and this too should get a mention. Beinsane 00:40, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

an act of terrorism[edit]

it the bombing in oklahoma city by McVay is listed as an act of terrorism, why isnt this one? is there one standard for american terrorists and another for Jewish terrorists like Begin? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.45.61.254 (talk) 03:36, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1. This article is about the building not the bombing itself. 2. There is debate over whether the bombing constitues an act of terrorism since there may have been a warning prior to the attack, and the target was military in nature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.56.155.93 (talk) 06:33, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
