Royal Heritage etc[edit]

This nonsense about "Banquo" is the sort of thing which brings Wikipedia into disrepute.

The Royal Stewarts came from Brittany and there never was anyone called "Banquo".

Not only that but given that Charlemagne only came to the throne in the year 800, it is not possible for him to have signed a treaty in the 8th Century.

Unless someone comes back on this I propose to remove that section (about Banquo and Charlemagne) altogether. Freuchie (talk) 20:26, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Freuchie: Feel free to junk this. I had a quick look at the source and couldn't find anything to back it up, even as a legend. Ben Mac Dui 13:21, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
