Coordinates are totally wrong,[edit]

... take you to the middle of the ocean. They were copied from the Arabic article, where this issue is signalled by a tag. I will remove them for now. Kariman Mango hi, are you still editing? Arminden (talk) 10:32, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How to use references[edit]

On English Wiki at least, the reference is always set at the end of the passage based on that specific ref. This has not been followed here by some editors, specifically when Arabic sources are used, and one doesn't know where the passage based on one ref ends and the next one starts. In one case there is a direct quotation, with a ref, colon and initial quotation mark, but no closing one, so the problem is even greater. Please try to fix. Thanks. Periods[edit]

Islamic periods: which? There were several.

I have linked to Timeline of Palestine (region), as Roman "Arabia" became part of the provinces Palaestina II & (mainly) Palaestina III in the wider Diocese of the East. If someone will ever set up a useful timeline page specifically for (Trans-)Jordan, we can adapt the links. Arminden (talk) 14:32, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
