Tone and clarity[edit]

Although 'mum' is perfectly good colloquial English in Australia, its meaning may not be readily apparent to those whose first language is not English. Unless there is dissent or discussion by 24 Septemeber 2008 (a month from now), I propose to replace its two occurrencs in this article by 'mother'. yoyo (talk) 04:22, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why anyone would object to mum being changed to mother Tweety bui (talk) 08:46, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The tone in this article is terrible. It sounds like a biographer wrote the article, or an agent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.168.104.236 (talk) 08:50, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Equus?[edit]

He reportedly appeared in a production of Equus. Can this be confirmed?--Hugh7 (talk) 07:42, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added a cite for that as part of a general effort to source the article. I've removed the details about his early life, for which I couldn't find a source. Gonzonoir (talk) 14:14, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
