Kfar Menachem is spelled with CH. as Menachem. and not Menahem. can't u just copy the spell of their own homepage? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.69.172.36 (talk) 08:30, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia doesn't go by the official names of places, but by the common name. For cases like this one, where the common names can't be easily determined, we use WP:HE, which has clear transliteration rules. If you can prove that Menachem is the common name used by most reliable sources including the media, the article will be moved. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 18:33, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kibbutz Kfar Menachem[edit]

A kibbutz would never be referred to as a moshav. Totally different. Kibbutzim had no private property. Moshavim lands were farmed privately. 76.173.0.251 (talk) 19:21, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct, but the settlement at some location can be a moshav at some time and a kibbutz later on. That's what the article appears to be saying, but the writing is unclear and there is no source to check. So this needs work to unravel. Zerotalk 01:11, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
