Tuzla Island incident POV-pushing[edit]

I should warn northerly-inclined;) editors against attempts of POV-pushing regarding that. In no way the Kremlin-devised Tuzla incident was connected to any real bilateral bridge- or ferry-project between Ukraine and Russia. I'm going to delete mentions of the incident unless someone comes up with solid refs supporting such a connection. Not to mention that there was no such projects at all, in my humble understanding) Wishes, Ukrained2012 (talk) 14:21, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My edit for 6 August 2014[edit]

For the third paragraph under "History", I corrected a couple of errors, one was a date, the other was the original writer's mistakenly confusing the Edelweiss offensive of 1942 with Hitler's never realized offensive planned for 1943. The whole paragraph was taken from Speer's book, which is okay, but I tried to streamline it and make it a little smoother. (I don't like to go in and completely rewrite another person's work.)

The paragraph above it contains this sentence: "Fighting frequency intensified in the coldest months of year when the strait froze over, allowing the movement of troops over the ice." I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean but I left it alone.

There ought to be another paragraph on the Soviet operations when crossing the Kerch, and I may do it someday, if I ever find one of those elusive round tuuits.209.179.21.14 (talk) 22:06, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
