It's not really my field of expertise, but the current "History" section - "Lord Baden-Powell and his wife Olave visited Kenya in 1935 on the way to South Africa, and spent time in Nyeri, near Mount Kenya etc" - doesn't have anything to do with the subject of the article. It's a history of Lord Baden-Powell's travels and personal life in the 1930s. The article says that Kenyan scouting dates from 1910. Lupine Proletariat 12:17, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is a very strong Jasiri (rover) Scouting unit in Moi University run by Christopher Murimi a PTC, ITC, SFS holder. The crew has 30 members and might be the only jasiri crew in a university in Kenya. How about mentioning it in the article? Murimi was recruited into scouting by Jimmy Gakuva the immediate former area commissioner in Embu local Association. Gakuva is also an executive in KSA. Christopher has led the unit into great heights by introducing flag ceremonies in the University, and running an outreach program in Mabs (Cheboiyo) a slum near the University. Christopher was also once to be a world bank sponsored participant in a global youth forum in Paris in 2003 through the World Scout Bureau, African Regional Office, Nairobi. Its good to mention his efforts and those others like 'Major' who is now a PS MINISTRY of youth affairs Kenya. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.24.114.226 (talkcontribs)
