New history resource[edit]

This mining history account has good historical info re both Utah Copper & Kannecott. In particular, this chart documents the Guggenheim-controlled mines & smelters as of 1910. The Googs owned Kennecott and controlled Utah Copper then -- needs to be added to article. "Although the Guggenheims held only a minority interest in UCCo., by virtue of the smelting contract they were in control."

1973 Chilean Coup?[edit]

I noticed that a few pages direct here, but that this page seems a friendly whitewash. According to some other pages around wiki, this company had an office bombed in the 1970s in revenge for supposed support during the 1973 Chilean coup.
